NAMASTE AND WELCOME TO THE EMBASSY OF NEPAL , BANGKOK!

               Nepal and Thailand enjoy an excellent relations founded on the pillars of similarity of culture and shared values. There is good friendship, goodwill, mutual cooperation and understanding between the two countries. Over the years, relations between the two countries have expanded in all directions of cooperation.

               People to people contact have grown to an unprecedented level in recent decades. As members of various regional and international forums, Nepal and Thailand share common understanding on many issues of regional and international importance particularly in the arena of international peace and security.

               Lumbini, the Birthplace of Lord Buddha, has been a symbol of common culture for the peace loving people of both Nepal and Thailand.

              A huge number of Thai monks, nuns and people from various walks of life pay a pilgrimage tour to Lumbini every year.

              Thailand has been an attractive destination for Nepalese people in recent years particularly in health Check-up, shopping, Tourism , and transit.

          The Embassy of Nepal in Bangkok is hosting a reception on Wednesday, May 29th 2013 at the Embassy premises (189 Soi 71 Sukhumvit Road) from 18:30 to 20: 30 on the occasion of the Republic Day of Nepal. The Embassy would like to request all Nepalese Citizens residing in Thailand to attend the reception.
